We were at a Bus Conversion get together at the Grand Canyon Caverns in Az a few years ago before hook ups were installed. We had to run our generator during the day since it was a bit warm. I remember there was an Eagle near us with his Diesel generator mounted next to his engine on the right side where the A/C used to be but not sound proofed at all. My wife and I were taking a break watching TV in the back of our bus with two A/C's running, the generator running and I could still hear that other open Diesel generator running next door! Bottom line-there is no such thing as a too quiet generator. And especially some of our older gentlemen with less than perfect hearing, we do hear loud generators just fine. Good Luck, TomC
