Thanks to Covid, we are wintering in the coach
« on: December 01, 2020, 05:34:16 PM »
I’ve had a good solid run at a successful music career for a solid 12 years now. But Covid of course has bottomed out our entire years worth of booked events in the US and Canada. So we are wintering up north in Michigan because we have a free place to park. I’ll be posting plenty of photos of the bus. We’ve done this many times before down to -28°F so we aren’t new to wintering in the bus. But wish we could be in Florida.

Too bad you couldn't find a location with a milder winter to ride out the storm. I know you can do it, but Michigan winters are not where I'd want to be in a bus.

Scott - Do you anticipate any problems with your water or heat systems getting through this? There are a number of bus nuts in Michigan, so hopefully you've got some local contacts in case you run into problems.

Purpose built conversion, intended to over-winter where it is winter.

 Sounds lovely.

Good for the kids to have regular chances to experience the snow, so they may make "informed" decisions for their own future geography choices?

Happy coaching!

For sure we're seeing all the weaknesses in the supply chain amplified, and I'm guessing that a lot of the problems are due to companies using 'just-in-time' supply chains and relying on a single source, often in another country.

I've heard lots of good things about these.

Clifford let me know what you need in breakers.  I think I can help.  They are all tandems but I have them.
