I have a 99 MCI 102DL3. Currently, It won't start. I've got a check transmission light on the dash, and a stop engine light as well. The transmission fluid is good, but the N is blinking on my single display shifter pad.  How do I clear the codes and get back? rolling

Press both arrow buttons on shift pad together, twice. It will show tranny codes. If it’s a tranny problem. Mine wouldn’t shift and it was a wire frayed through.

Yes, either google the code or get an Allison manual, I downloaded a troubleshooting manual, in my case it told me i didn’t have contact to the 5th gear solenoid, and since it (tranny) was fine when we took it apart I knew it had to be wiring.

I believe mcis have problems with neutral start and wheelchair so it may not be a transmission problem

If n is blinking it could be trying to shift, maybe as simple as pressing the n to engage neutral

Mechanical everything all the way for me. I'm becoming a real dinosaur, I know, but I intend to be driving my pure mechanical vehicles long after the EMP, Mushroom clouds, or Zombie Apocalypse, whatever comes first. D 1 is always displayed when you enter the diagnostic L 70 is temperature is to low it goes away in a few minutes after running,you need to look at engines codes it is not your transmission giving you the problem

He musta missed the link I posted below in this post, Lo-70 sump temperature low.

 Be sure; – Engine is at idle.
– The fluid temperature is between 60˚C (140˚F) and
104˚C (220˚F).
– Transmission is in N (Neutral).
– The vehicle has been stationary for approximately
two minutes to allow the fluid to settle.
– The engine is at idle (below 1000 rpm – not "fast" idle).
  Note worthy when in this mode.

He needs somebody to show him how to flash the engine codes to get it started there nothing wrong with the B500.a little more detail would help like if the starter engages and spins the engine ?
