Welcome Eric!
What state are you in? What sort of plans do you have for the conversion? Asking as if you bought one, you probably have a few thoughts about layout and features.

Hi Eric, welcome, you might want to put what state you reside, so if someone is nearby they could help, lvmci...

I'll start a build thread this weekend to give more detail.

If you quit your job too, you can be on the road in 6 months. I was amazed that Dave converted his in that time. I think Scott put his together fast too. You can watch Yvan and Sylvie working like mad too. Can be done. Go for it!

Eric, I'm in Florence/Union just across the river from you, slowly converting a '96 DL3 but check out my build journal, it might give you an idea or two. Also Bronson is just outside the beltway on the east side. He said there's another 1 or 2 busnuts in town on the east side but I haven't met them.

Welcome from wherever we are today enjoy the ride and take it slow no rush.
Well not totally complete in 6 months but livable Don. We still put in things like inverter and extra batteries etc while on the road. Today we are back on the road in Mohave Ca at Sierra trails RV Park. Yesterday the genny decided it was not going to run right now. So playing with that today off and on but are now realizing that we are in the fulltime group now and can go where we want again and don't have to be anywhere anytime if we don't want to be. Woke up this morning at a temperature of 45 degrees. Went Bounny hopping in the Jeep last night to get some groceries. :^

That's great. I'm glad to know there are some folks to bounce ideas off of. I'm very handy but not all that mechanical. So, this is a great resource to help with those things. Seems like a friendly bunch.
