One other option to provide secondary, redundant securing is to run a strap, cable, whatever over the top of the panels and secure to the gutters on each side.
Aesthetically, some may not like the strap but it blends in well due to the location of the panels, the roof contour, and location and distance of the gutter to the panel
Until I redid the bracing, I used straps and they held things fine temporarily. The gutters are plenty strong and able to take the load.
