Clifford, you are a character. like any amount of tire monitoring will save that situation. Now, if they bring AI driving systems to old buses then it would likely respond better and faster than the old geezer in the driver seat. lol

I am just telling you TPMS don't always warn when a tire is getting ready to blow

Aside from expecting to get instantaneous warning of tire blowout from a TPMS, just a view of tire pressures prior to & during a trip is what I would think most users would be expecting of this upgrade to having not to physically need to check every tire individually with a pressure guage.

Most people check the TPMS with a gauge anyways,,these new cars have the sensor inside the tire , the tire dealers are charging 65 bucks now for valve stems because of the sensor made on the valve stem, some systems will not work unless the vehichle is moving after setting all night so that is not going to tell you much

I drove a semi for 20 years with no tpms. There was that one time the dogs told me of an impending tire failure, big bang. Too bad I didn't know what they were telling me.  :(

I have EezTire system on the bus, seems to accurate to within a pound or two according to my digital tire gauge. I did have to add a repeater, one of the rears kept dropping off. No problems since then.
