MCI's tend to be quite standard over the years in their controls and locations across many models. I wouldn't sweat too much if you cant' find the operators manual for your Exact model. Get a copy for one of the models that closely matches yours and you'll find most everything you'll need to know. I can say that over the years as MCI made big changes in their line up whatever changes were made carried over through that design change until the next evolutionary change. For instance, MC5, MC7, MC8, MC9 were all essentially the same controls wise. Then the 96-102 A1, A3, series was a new overall layout but most of the basics stayed the same. These were essentially transition models which lead to the final D's. The D's carried over the previous A3 type layout. Then they did the latest and more revolutionary Renaissance leading to the much more operator friendly and still current J's. All through this process MCI keeps a very consistent philosophy which makes it very comfortable for a fleet driver who jumps from bus to bus will usually have very little trouble finding the needed controls and will know what to expect when he needs to do something with the bus.
This carries over to the full bus layout of where to find any given component and how things will function. They really haven't changed much at all over the years and across all the model changes. I consider this a very sound policy and provides a stable and predictable platform to work with. They don't engage in the Change for Change's sake crapola some others do. Don't even get me started on any of the Euro buses....
I speak from lots of personal experience in this matter and is one of the primary reasons I much prefer to drive any MCI a given operator has to offer. For this reason and many others I consider MCI to still be the absolute Gold Standard of what a Commercial revenue generating, Operator and driver friendly vehicle should be.
You should be able to find an operator manual from the sources listed above and even Ebay which I use successfully for many of my documentation needs. I have engine, transmission, operator manuals and much more all from Ebay through the years. Good luck and remember it's the journey not necessarily the destination. The work never really seems to end anyway.
