I had day/night electric shades in the Country Coach loved it you push the button all and all the shades closed or open or you could open each shade  you wanted open also had a remote control you could set on your butt and control the shades plus they had no cords to break. I wasn't fond of the electric windshield shades but Sonja used the ones on her side

High tech is nice when it works but can be a nightmare when it doesn't, one of my shades broke a bracket and pull the wire out of the motor and they wanted $300.00 for the motor, Van figured a way to replace the wire they said couldn't be done, my sewer system had a electrical problem I worked on for weeks, when Jerry and Van found the problem in a few days it was so simple the dumb clucks had the fuse labeled as a spare in the fuse box only fuse I never checked dozens of times.I could control everything in coach from a chair in the RV if I could figure out how to do it

We got the MCD solar black shades and the off white night shades years ago and they still work well and help with the heat and cold temps. We did not get the 250.00 motors with them but could be added at any time. But for that price they will not be. I have two hands and they work fine for that, LOL.

I like the cellular shades with their heat and cold properties. Manual hand pull down is fine with me, one less thing to break...

I had Hunter/Douglas cellular day/nite shades in the Eagle every time a string broke it would cost me $50.00 to have one re strung.Re string one is not for the faint I found out when I tried to do one lol $50.00 was cheap.I kiked the M/D in the CC you lower before it touches it is day shade lower more and it turns into night cellular shade with no strings attached

Yep ours are spring loaded and just give it a little tug and up they go. Pull down and they stay where you want them.

Clifford, Not that hard once you figure out how to slide the top rail off. Most important is getting the proper cord, buy that from HD, it's cheap and is very strong.

I never could get the hang of it,my blinds took about 75ft of the cord ea and cost 9 +bucks ea from H/D for that tiny cord ,they were good blinds the fabric never shown any wear.Sonja wanted the H/D me I would have gone a cheaper route H/D blinds are expensive to me
