Greyhound buses used to be the only way for many people to travel from town to town.

See several Greyhound terminals and travelers back in the day.

The Bus Driver is sometimes the only person passengers see from Greyhound for days as drivers switch out on different parts of the route.

Smoking was banned on buses about this time.

Hollywood used buses for many of its popular movies. This video shows many of them.

Buses were an excellent way for many people to see the country close up.

Buses ran day and night while many people slept through most nights.

All-night diners were a popular stop along the way.
