So it takes me a while to figure things out. I had been using the Flying J Rewards card from time to time, as it provided a reasonable fuel discount, and was sometimes handy. I would also intermittently use the RV or truck pumps depending on the situation.
The card began to throw errors a couple months ago. Each time the cashier tried to process the transaction, it would also fail. And I'd end up just using a credit card. A week ago we finally called customer service. The program has been cancelled since sometime late last year.
I checked out the myRewards program and was about to sign up, but it looks more like just a way to market and send emails and texts to the RV'r. Yes, with enough points you can save some money on a hot dog or soft drink, etc.. The new program looks underwhelming compared to the alternative methods to save any money or receive value. Am I missing something?
And for those who may have missed it, the original program for fuel savings is gone.
