Magnum - gone?? Support.. Any info?
« on: February 18, 2025, 05:15:06 PM »
Working w/ Leisure Coach in Fontana on some Magnum programming anomolies, only to find out that tech support was not returning any  of their calls.  Finally LCW was able to get through only to find out that Magnum shut down its inverter division, and along with that, tech support was shut down.

Anybody have any insights into what happened (other than the obvious  :o   )

Thank you all!, Phil

Phil, Tom Joseph retired and sold Magnum to Generac and I think but not sure they are moving everything to WI they maybe down for a short time, they paid Tom big money so they won't shut it down

Thank you Cliff - really appreciate that information.  We had recently purchased a couple of their 4,000 watt inverters and would hate to be hung out on this with the vendor.  Right now we can't find support, so your update is encouraging!, I'm sure LCW can cover/support in the interim unless there's a parts issue.

Take care, Phil

Leisure Coach heard back from Corporate last night.  Sensata support for the Magnum will be getting with us today to troubleshoot the inverter.

This seems a bit "interesting".  But at least it's some path forward.   :^

I wonder if Sensata / Generac will offer repair service for older Magnum inverters, such as my MS2000?   Let's hope so...
