Some good ideas on the wall studs. What I like about the 2x3 studs is that they are easy to work with and combined with 3/8" marine plywood (7ply, waterproof glue) makes a very solid wall that is light but can easily hold shelves. Thick enough for interior wiring and doorjambs and the final thing, a little thinner than the window dividers. Since I only need two walls it doesn't use a lot of space. Plus they can be bolted into the bus structure using existing nutserts, making for a good solid attachment. Seems like a good plan for my rig anyways. I'll probably glue the plywood to the studs on one side at least.
No plans to access the controller any time soon, but if you guys learn of a definite way to enable that cruise/fast idle thing I'm all ears.
