Nice bus but what's the heck is a super turbo? And how does a 8V71 Super Turbo stack up against a 8V92 TA ?

What is that box on the roof up front? An a/c unit?

This is a very nice original condition coach. It still retains many original parts that typically are gone like the metal fender trim/moldings. Interior looks well done. Mechanical systems look a bit DIY. Brand new tires, assume it runs well, and a great deal to be had by someone.
The "super" probably is some special tuning to a 8V71TA, something Don Fairchild does.

More pics of bedroom and engine and underbelly would be helpful.
The box on top is a mystery as is the extruding side plate along the driver side. I suspect some of this is remnants of its original life as a satellite tracker and some sort of equipment or accommodations were made.

For anyone wanting a VERY nice starting point to jump into busnut world, take a look.

It's got Custom Coach plaques on both front and rear, but the interior doesn't look like any CC I've ever seen. Listing shows that it was converted in 2002 using the interior from a 1999 Airstream. Maybe that's when it was re-converted and the Custom Coach interior was removed?

Lots of great things on the outside such as the original trim and lighting, but the interior seems a mystery.

Check out the photo of the rear. Just above the engine bay is a plaque which reads Land Cruiser. It's clearly a Custom Coach plaque. I think there is also a small CC plaque on the front, but it is too small to read.

Wouldn't be the first time a Custom Coach bus was bastardized when it was re-converted/updated. In this case, in 2002.

I have seen this bus in person and it is in great condition for an old bus.  The hoses on it should all be replaced as they are fraid, but the owner drove it a few miles with no problem.  It has new tires and has been converted, but will need some work, but I have never seen a bus with such low miles.  If you have any questions, call Marilyn and she will be happy to tell you all about it. If I was in the market for a vintage bus, I would definitely consider this one.
