There are many RV A/C units out there now, but most are made in China now.  The main reason I would go with Coleman is they seem to at least be assembled in the USA and they are reported to be good units.  I have no expectation of needing an A/C unit for at least a year so hopefully supply issues will be better in a year or more when I need a new unit.

I have two of the original Colemans that were installed on my coach 23 years ago and are still used extensively with no problems over that time period..  I had to replace the gasket on the rear two years ago and that's it..>>>Dan

To get comparable Colemans now, need to pay extra for the rough service model. They had to cheapen the regular models to compete price wise with the other brands.

I need to get 3 compressors in the 15000-18000 range that run on 115v and can do r134. The more efficient the better of course. Could be cannibalized, could be new...
