Somehow, I don't think this is going to make my owning an RV and purchasing accessories a better environment for me
I wonder if Thor will make Coleman Mach air conditioners exclusive to only Thor RVs? My plan if one of my air conditioners were to fail is to replace with it with a Coleman Mach 8.,
We love our Dometic HE Brisk Air II. @ 13500 btu uses a measly 900W running. That's the lowest load in the industry for roof top. Two can run on a 30A circuit. A little pricey reflected by it's efficient operation.
too much electronics. convenient, but you get into these issues. No reason you couldn't just turn on one to three with manual switches. Anyway, never liked Dometic products clear back to 80's. I prefer Coleman and Norcold. But I guess just like tires and oil preference for some.
I'm in no way stuck on Dometic. I'm stuck on a 13500 btu roof air that is super efficient. They exist in the mini split league but no roof air can come near a 13500 that draws 900W and easily starts on a 2500W genny or inverter. If I could find one I'd consider it. We considered mini split but have absolutely no room for it.
